I understand my flaws; hate is based in ignorance.

Do you hate murderers and rapists?
No. I hate murder and rape.

    Do you hate your father?
    What the hell is this?

    Not all hate is ugly.
    Yes it is.

    They create their own objectivity
"Their own objectivity" is called "subjectivity". Even a moral relativist does not claim objectivity can be created. What kind of nonsense is this.

A concept cannot be toxic, BDBoop.

Yes. All hate is ugly, and no. I don't hate. Not hating is as much a part of me as having blue/green eyes and being left-handed. My closest sister has trouble understanding why I forgive so easily and give second chances so often. Personally, I consider it a blessing. I have seen the damage that hating does from a first-hand perspective.

Hate is not just a concept. Hate is also an emotion. Emotions can be toxic.

It's ugly because it shows a lack of understanding and create even more negativity than there already is.
Where does that extent end, theplaydrive?

Emotions are subjective. Perceptions are various. One can say hate is like a purifying flame; one that burns away internal flaws. "Good" "hate".

And your understanding is absolute, theplaydrive?

Just because you experience them individually does not make them subject to your interpretation. My sadness feels good! Sadness is good! It's subjective!

    "Good" "hate".

    I'm out.

No, it is not, ecofarm. Show me how all hate is wrong. Is it wrong to hate rape? No? Then what options and reasons do you have left for punishing rapists?

Are you engaging in ugly behavior by hating rape? Do not get caught in your words.

    All hate is not ugly.

You don't hate whatsoever? How grand that must be. That is as credible as one who says he never lies, or brags, or gets angry.

You have hated. You probably hate something today. You will hate in the future.

    We all do that.

    You don't?

Hating evil or sin is a good thing, and I may have taken the question wrong because so many people who post here are always accusing others hating other people or being hateful Racists.

I hope I have made it clear in my posts that it's okay to hate sin but not the sinners.

It ends at the point where the destruction hate does to the individual overpowers its positive utility.

None of this changes the fact that hate is an emotion and emotions can be toxic. I'm just correcting your assertion that hate can't be toxic since it's a concept.

And your understanding is absolute, theplaydrive?
I'm not sure what you mean. Do you deny that hate creates negativity and that hatred is based in ignorance?

Yet BDBoop states all hate is ugly and, I think, she implies all hate is wrong.

Perhaps you would challenge her claim?
