Oh of course not. People are acting like this is some egregious offense. The only people who argue for the heads of reps based on these kind of violations are hardcore line-towers, extremists, or the seriously mentally deficient.

You show me a Congressman with a blemish-free record and I'll show you my condo on Mars.

I see someone's re-invigorated the space program in the aftermath of shuttle retirment
Nobody who wins a war indulges in a bifurcated definition of victory. War is a political act; victory and defeat have meaning only in political terms. A country incapable of achieving its political objectives at an acceptable cost is losing the war, regardless of battlefield events.

Bifurcating victory (e.g. winning militarily, losing politically) is a useful salve for defeated armies. The "stab in the back" narrative helped take the sting out of failure for German generals after WWI and their American counterparts after Vietnam.

All the same, it's nonsense. To paraphrase Vince Lombardi, show me a political loser, and I'll show you a loser.

This here, I agree with both statements.

I think when it goes on one's twitter account, it is hard to not see it as the public's business. Even so, I still think the guy should be able to try to recover some form of the Democrat he perhaps once not that long ago was.

Where is your link Homeboy!! Are you really stupid enough to think we would just take your word for it??

What is with you republicans.. First you were worried about where Clinton was putting his or not putting his.. Now you all have hard ons for who Weiner is showing his too.. I guess you're wishing it was you instead of someone else?? Seems to me that a lot of you conservatives need to come out of the closet!!

As been said.. This isn't any of our business.. Get over it.. Showing the world you have weiner envy isn't a good thing.. Seriously!! Get over yourselves!! We liberals don't know why Mr. Craigs list resigned nor do we even care!! Nor should you care about Mr. Weiner!! But as we all can tell with the number of threads you all have created!! Damn it is almost as if you all are jealous you weren't on the tweet list.. You all have internet.. Go look up some gay porn.. Spare this forum with your fantasies..

He should resign out of respect for his constituents. They deserve someone who isn't disloyal and dishonest. Now, finding someone who is loyal and honest.....that might be difficult....

What if his constituents don't want him to resign? They will have their chance to dump him in the next election.
