    evolution has zero dependency on how life came about, it just deals with what we have observed of what has happened with life after it was established. Regardless of if it was God, a bolt of lightening in a mud puddle, a hydrothermal vent, or Lisa Simpsons science experiment. It matters not how life gets here from an evolutionary standpoint. It only matters that life IS here.

    Abiogenesis isn't a religious theory. We don't understand how abiogenesis happened, but it had to have happened. Evolutionary theory and all biology are predicated on at least one instance of abiogenesis.

    Well then, I really don't care what category it is really, it's still ridiculous.

    I think you may be getting abiogenesis, the very real emergence of life from nonlife, mixed up with spontaneous generation, the fanciful theory of worms falling from the sky and such.

    the first chicken most likely came from something else's egg as a slight mutation.

    I may have, but the description of both make me skeptical, I'll have the read more on abiogenesis to get a better understanding...

    In order to say evolution exists, that we cone from a long inverse chain of gradually smaller animals, we must explain and attempt to prove how such life came to be.

    You state God didn't make life poof into existence, yet you assume life must have somehow went poof yet you cannot explain it.

    No one can explain, how can we? Not with God, the idea of ID could have been the brain child of anyone with the ability to use their imagination, well not just ID, but all of religion.

    I salute your initiative. I think when you read more about it you will see how reasonable it is. The only alternative to the theory of abiogenesis is that life has somehow always existed.

    If there was a point in time when the universe did not contain life, then abiogenesis has to have occurred.

    Chicken === Egg

    just as

    Caterpillar === Butterfly
