I agree 100% people outta touch with reality, think their situation is everyones. Like politicians thinking that most americans make 250K a year or other nonsense like that.

This is also true. There will always be those who are creative and rise to whatever the challenge is. However, as the challenge grows, that % of people who can do that will inevitably go down, meaning that the system works less well over all.

Ultimately though, what is wrong with these types of discussions is not the principals involved (which are highly useful, but limited in application on their own), but that we simply don't have enough data. We don't know that the inefficiencies are and what any help rendered will do to those numbers, meaning we cannot come up with a valid cost/benefit calculation to decide where investment is warranted, so we are stuck to arguing principals, which only gets us so far in the real world. Ultimately meaning we have our viewpoints, but no good way to say whether those viewpoints are useful. I am guilty of it too of course, such is human nature.

and the reality is that its not silly its very possible whether you accept that reality or not.

again total assumptions that you are simply guessing on.

My god man, you're creating all sorts of excuses.
Does this fictional person not have a day off?

The library is open on weekends, friends and family are typically open 24/7 if you need it.
There are so few reasonable scenarios where this wouldn't work that it makes it largely a non issue.

No one is asking these people to cross the damn desert, with a thimble of water.
I was discovering that life just simply isn't fair and bask in the unsung glory of knowing that each obstacle overcome along the way only adds to the satisfaction in the end. Nothing great, after all, was ever accomplished by anyone sulking in his or her misery.

Again, I have to ask you to prove it. We've already mentioned the countless options for people, but nobody is showing a legitmate reason why they cannot be used.
