Alfons....reality is this way....I'm gonna have to ask you to step out of tea party fantasy land if you want us to take you even halfway seriously.

I don't consider Palin a viable candidate at this point. The media did a thorough and deliberate smear job on her in 2008, and some of her own choices during that time period also shot herself in the foot. If she ran you wouldn't be able to hear anything she said for the cacophony of media fools yelling "Lol Whut? Did you hear she thinks she can see Russia from her window??", not to mention the Tina Fay impersonation and people confusing what Tina Fay says for what Palin said.

Her campaign would be like MST3000, you couldn't see or hear anything for the heckling.

If both were to keep their mouths shut and the "voters" were teenaged boys, then, no contest.
If either were on radio, and the panel were high school grads, then ,close, but I am using good schools.
If the same, but with college grads, then no-contest again...
The higher the intellectual level, then, the greater victory for Mr Obama.
Only my opinion.

I do not have a high opinion of our media. And this is both the conservative and liberal media..
Have any of them ever heard this?? : the truth, the whole truth, and only the truth....with respect and civility.

Only if the voters were to be teenaged boys, aged 18 to 21, and high school drop-outs....
At this early age, she would appeal to me and I am not a "dropout". close - maybe...lol

I didn't vote in the poll because I don't believe I need to discuss my political affiliation if any to answer..

About the only thing Palin can beat Obama at is a beauty contest.. Other than that.. Palin will beat herself..

Because of the fact she resigned as governor of Alaska and she is a hypocrite she is damaged goods. Sure partisan hack retards call her stupid or a moron, but those poeple will will be ignored just like the die hard Bush bashers were. But all her opponents have to do is play commercials that Obama will never run away just because people say mean things about him or his family, Obama will not abandon his duties just because he wants to make more money. Her republican primary opponents will run commercials calling her out on her so called anti-abortion stance by the fact she knowingly appointed a pro-abortion judge to the Alaskan Supreme court and flip flopping on the bridge to nowhere as well as commenting on the fact she fled from being governor of Alaska. She might as well be a republican with a gay affair caught on tape the media has, that's how damaged she is.

If she did not have those issues I could see her having a chance and perhaps would even like to vote for her myself. Right now I think the only reason the liberal media including Fox News is propping her up is to give Obama his 2nd term.

Contrary to popular belief not every conservative supports Palin. I do not think you should vote for someone based purely on party or what they claim to support. You should however vote for a candidate because you agree with their views and their deeds(past votes, nominations, bills they tried to pass and so on). A lot of politicians claim to be one thing and then turn around and do something to contradict what they claim to be. For example many die hard republicans claim if you are a conservative you got to vote for a republican because they pick the SC judges. McCain in 1993 voted to confirm ACLU liberal and pro-abortion Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the SC even though McCain claimed to be a conservative. In 2009 Palin appointed a pro-abortion to the Alaskan Supreme court even though Palin claims to be pro-life meaning she opposes legalized abortion except in extreme cases(ironically this judge she picked is being considered by Obama to fill the vacancy in the 9th circuit court of appeals.) So why would Palin or McCain be any different when appointing a SC judge?

Maybe in a game of Mouse Trap she could beat Obama.

I still think if she put her mind to it, she could still be an effective networker for the Republican party. The whole "Momma Grizzly" pack bit convinced me of that potential.

Sarah Palin couldn't beat eggs.

Actually, I'd love to see her as a serious contender. She already delivered one election to Obama. Maybe she'll do it again.

With the right team behind her and if she can actually elaborate on the HOWs of her talking points and if she was pro-civil liberties on social issues, sadly I think she could. But I don't think any of that is going to happen

I'd like to see it solely for entertainment purposes.
