Well, it had to be editted to become the King James version, and it was editted and revised and condensed when it was originally structured by Constantine. The three major sects (Protestant, Catholic, Eastern Orthodox) all have different versions, so that's another edit. I would venture to say it isn't outside of the realm of possibility.

Bibles can’t be corrected; they are incorrect by their own nature. The existence of different versions of even the various christian bibles proves they are incorrect; and the errors when you compare a bible of one religion to another are manifold. Besides, there is no religion that allows human correction of divine revelation. So, why even talk about correcting a bible. One should either accept (believe in) them as they are or move on and think for oneself.

There's multiple verses in the New and Old Testament that speak against homosexuality, adultery, fornication, etc. There's also many other verses that are unpopular with our society, so shouldn't we change them? Since the Bible is full of bigotry and hatred, why not mold the Bible to our liking? Shouldn't we have new Christian churches that can help progress Christianity?

    *Computer working again; poll added.
You are apparently clueless as to how the KJV came to be as it now is. If some church wants to edit it's canon, AGAIN, that's up to them. There is no need for any FURTHER involvement by government.

You are one of the few people I have seen that gets beat by his strawmen.

The ways I heard it told was that God hand delivered the bible to George Washington, right after he admitted to chopping down the cherry tree.

I do not believe in censoring any books! Especially holy texts. I was angry over the revisions in the greats like Huck Finn!
