Pearl Harbor was also a big tragedy and I doubt Americans were hyperventilating about it 15 years later. For GOD'S SAKE, the terrorists won that day.
 
That was a terribly UNWISE decision. Who honestly thought that was a good idea for a commercial?

Several minutes of shallow thought resulted in the lame idea of knocking over twin towers of mattresses with a giggling moron announcing a 9/11 sale. Hopefully many will never forget how incredibly stupid that idea actually was. No need for death threats - just always remember (as in never forget) not to shop there.

I do not.

Mike Bonanno claimed the video was made without his knowledge. He told the San Antonio station WOAI that they would donate 30 percent of its sales over weekend to the 9/11 Foundation before deciding to indefinitely shutter the store.

Tying to cover your ass by using the local news to claim that your business is really (now going to become) a 9/11 charity (except that you are not even open) was the last straw. If you hire morons (even if they are family) then be willing to suffer the consequences. Never forget that.
 
How stupid do you have to be in order not to identify the stupidity in that idea? Who in his right mind would see nothing wrong in a "twin tower sale"? Dear lord.
