If a god or creator exists...is it supernatural?

I personally do not believe in a God, and ESPECIALLY not religion which is a man-made construct.

I've enjoyed (and agree with) some of the things you've had to say here in the thread.

I have a question I'd like you offer a comment on...and I am going to personalize it for you:

When you wrote "I...do not believe in a God..." what exactly were you saying?

Could you rephrase that without using the words "believe in" so I can get a clearer picture of what you are saying?

I'd like to discuss it for a bit.

Maybe I should rephrase my view. I believe that religion, in its entirety spanning all faiths does not have the answers to the universe. They were written by man and can't be independently verified.

As for God, the question for me comes down to how you define God. If defined by religion, then we're talking about a man-made construct. I'm open to the possibility that there is some force in the universe, or the multiverse that is tied to nature that science cannot yet explain. I'm open to any number of possibilities on the origins of the universe and content with knowing that I'll probably never know the right answers in my lifetime.

We are shoulder to shoulder here, Runner.

Damn...I'd really like to know.

"Existence" is one hell of a mystifying thing.

Knowing the true nature of the REALITY of existence would be even better than knowing who is going to win the Super Bowl this year.

I wish we had all the answers, and I'm glad that science has come along leaps and bounds to at least pin point us in a few directions. My thing with all of these debates is that ultimately, I have to come to terms with the fact that I'll never know for sure.
