Re: Doesn't cherry picking scripture mean you are a hypocrite?

So, you and CC have nothing to back up your jack-legged claim that the NT / Resurrection is fiction. Par for the course with you two.

Your repeating that claim does not make it so, since you are totally ignoring the points made, and your attempt at trying to shift the burden of proof fails.

I'd like to see the viewpoint of people on whether those who cherry pick the parts to believe in their holy books are hypocrites.

They are. Why do you even have to ask?

Their book says one thing, they do the complete opposite on many issues. They are hypocrites. Why do you even have to ask?

Re: Doesn't cherry picking scripture mean you are a hypocrite?

You're the one who made the claim it is fiction. Back it up with some facts, instead of your usual evasions.

I've done that repeatedly. Now it's your turn to prove your position.

Many Christians stick to the words attributed to Jesus himself, read those and you get the message taught.

Re: Doesn't cherry picking scripture mean you are a hypocrite?

Much of the scripture was targeted for the people of that time.

With modern toilets, how many people go so many paces (or whatever) away and bury their excrement?

Applying the same logic to other taboos of the times, about the only thing solid is the ten commandments.
