Objectivism: Ayn Rand's Philosophy for Living on Earth

"Objectivism" is a clever label for the state of being as greedy as humanly possible.

1:13 - 1:30 contradicts your claim. I don't think you really know what objectivism is, you've likely only heard people yap about it or read 1/4 of Atlas right? Start with the reason, and work your way down. It does get kind of silly the further from the core logic it begins with, and surely the cultish view of Rand and the art aspect is...different, if not silly. But it's a good derivation of reason (ala science), and attempts to apply philosophy, something that philosophies are either too wrong or too needlessly complicated to do. Given all the near useless philosophies and religions we study throughout life, I think Objectivism is one of the better ones.

Objectivism holds LIFE as the standard of value. Actions and ideas are good if they are conducive to happy, healthy, successful human life.

What is "greed?" That term is just a way to attach a negative value judgment to acting in one's own interest. But it does not explain why it is wrong to do so.
