That is really what this thread title should be. Its a shame that most atheists are just hate filled a-holes. But it is what it is.

It's a shame that most religious people have no sense of humor at all, and are basically just a bunch of hate filled a-holes. But it is what it is.

I'm not an atheist.

I don't really think you need to be in order to recognize the ignorance, hatred, bigotry, sectarianism, insularism, and pig-headedness of a lot of religions and religious.

True. There are religious haters and atheist haters. You can't paint everybody with the same brush.

The idea that all religious people do not have an atom of hate and all atheists are filled with hate is a rather simplistic notion.
 
I forgot to add that Mick Jagger wrote Sympathy for the Devil after reading Bulgakov's "The Master and Margarita."

religion is the most hateful institution ever devised by man. Really, what can compete with eternal torment? Oh no, some atheists voiced some contempt for serial child rape, burning people to death, and mass murder and human sacrifice in the name of a phony deity. That must be so traumatic for you by comparison!
