I identify as....

My little brother used to think he was a log truck.
 
That's really remarkable to watch. She carries herself pretty well but the more you listen to her the more her delusion becomes evident. I feel like I'm the head shrinker in Terminator talking about Reese's delusion.

Can a white person, who "identifies" as a minority, be sued for fraud if they somehow benefit from that identity?

Say like on loan applications, college applications, or government grants?

When it comes to the 'identify as a woman', there is evidence of a physical structure in the brain that controls gender body image. This does not appear to be something that can be changed. It also happens right from the early childhood. It happens through all cultures, all ethic groups and both genders.

I can't say the same about identifying yourself as an African american, a Caucasian , or Hispanic.

Brain and body image certainly can go hand-and-hand with race/ethnicity/culture. The difference here is this is something new.
 
Isn't it "racist" to say a white person can't head up a branch of the NAACP?

Define context. As a white person, I can apply to UMES and qualify as a minority.

I actually feel bad for her. Especially when I watched the video of her first being confronted by the press and she realized she was busted.

No, because there is no way to prove someone is of a certain race...we have no standards to measure such a thing... and if we tried, it would fail.

It might be but nobody is saying that. The NAACP does hire non-blacks, even into positions of leadership.

She didn't lie because race is not something that is concrete... you cannopt scientifically prove you are a certain race or not because there are no standards for doing so. The human race is largely interconnected genetically and culturally.

This exposes the true flaw of the old racist system we still adopt today.... race is just a social concept, not a scientific one.

Actually, that is a myth...
While there are some genetic tendencies that cross certain ethnic groups, there is no standard and there are a lot of exceptions and genetic mixing.

Tell me the white gene?

The gene or sequence of genes that makes someone white, and not something else... again... you can't because culturally "white" people have a big mix of genes themselves coming from everywhere. As soon as you set a standard ...you exclude a huge population you may or may not think is White
