I'm a theist!

It might be more helpful to tell us how you were swayed into the idea of a Creator, then we might be able to help you with which one.

He got divorced.

Well, there is always "Blatch" the God that lives in the core of Pluto? It kicks religious God's ass in regular basis?

There is no such thing as a "logical argument" regarding a "Creator".

I sense a ruse.

you cant feel god by logic if you want to be a real believer.the logic of this argument lies in the emotional nature of the concept of god

Kali cults. Don't waste your time with religions too lame to rip out beating hearts.

That's right, I've been swayed by the logical arguments that there must be a Creator. But now's the hard part, which Creator should I believe in? And how can I objectively know if the Creator I choose to worship is the right one?

Can anyone help me?

Sure. Accept my God over here as your Lord and Savior... or else you'll face unimaginable torture for all eternity. #GodIsLove

Vague prophecies given significance after the fact does not make proof.

Put together, they paint an amazing and accurate portrait of the Messiah.

Jesus is Lord!

According to Nostradamus crazies, Nostradamus has more fulfilled prophecies than the Bible. I suspect our Bible crazy won't accept that.

I refer to myself as simply a "theist."

No point rushing or even deciding, to believe is good enough and all you really need.

Earthly authority may try and speak on behalf of God about what God likes and doesn't like but they'll always fail. Fail ****ing miserably.

Jesus is Lord!

Put together, it's just wishful thinking and application of significance after the fact.

Jesus is but a man. Nothing more.

He was born like a human (no, you can't ****ing conceive and have a child of whom shares traits of the mother and father without having a father fertilize the egg), lived like a human, ate like a human, spoke like a human, thought like a human, and died like a human.

Nope. And when you can bust the resurrection you'll have some credibility for your position.

Do ordinary people raise the dead, perform miracles of healings, etc., and rise from the dead?

The Gospels and epistles confirm that he was much more than just an ordinary human.

When you can PROVE the ressurection, you'll have some credibility.

The Bible is not proof that the Bible is right. You need independent verification.

I heard that there is no Hell in Judaism. How about a heaven?

We have neither, we believe that when we die we all go back to living with our mothers.

Such fairy tales are unfounded and as such, must be assumed as false (and rightly so).

The non-supernatural Jesus you want people to believe in couldn't have gathered a dozen quotes from all who knew him.

Let's see your evidence that it's a fairy tale. You made the claim, you back it up!

In the first century there was no 'New Testament." However there were over two dozen independent manuscripts floating around different localities which confirmed the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. And that is INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION.

Lots of fictional characters are heavily quoted in the works of fiction they are written in. That's not proof, that's just wishful thinking. How about some verifiable evidence?

hmm.muslim heaven seems to be the most attractive one among the others

So you're saying Jesus is a fictional character? Paul too? Peter? That's too arrogant and sophomoric a proposition to waste time on.

Yes, heavily edited texts by men well after the fact, we need something a bit more than that.
