If you wish to explain to me how all of North Korean's are not being brainwashed by the "supreme leader" of their country Kim Jong-un because the dictionary says they are not, but in fact following a legit religion, then by all means, enlighten me.

Not all cults are Religions. However, All religions are cults.

Pretty much every Muslim in the western world doesn't take their Qur'an literally. Given that extremists make up only about 25% of Islam, that leaves 75% of Muslims that ignore significant parts of their holy book.

As a christian you are also in a cult. We are not using the abridged chad1389 dictionary. We are using real conventional ones that unequivocally define Christianity and any other religion as cult.

Whether you see cult as a negative and therefore want to shun the title of cult when applied to your own religion is your own personal, subjective, reasoning.

I pulled both of those from the same source you gave me, the dictionary. Do you agree that all ungoldy people are immoral? Or that Atheist are wicked?

According to that definition yes.

But it's purely subjective.

However if your argument is now that the definitions of cult are subjective why should anyone except the definition that you are cherry picking over the others?

Do you only ever read what you write? I already stated that other religions such as Mormonism, Judaism, Buddhism and countless others are in fact religions. I am not "pleading" for my own religion.

No that's me throwing your game false equivocation of two different words to undermine the objective meanings of another back at you.

It's sad that you now have to rely on fallacies to scrape by in this discussion.

A cult is a noun. It has defined parameters that it needs to be identified as such.

The word ungodly is an adjective that is purely steeped in pious reasoning and lore - check it's etymology and is used subjectively.

What is ungodly to me may not be ungodly to you.

But like when defining other actual things like a cult there is not variance in what constitutes them. A cult is what it is.

Then you are still wrong. Your fallacy didn't distort that fact that as a noun then is no subjectivity in what constitutes as a cult.

A cult does, as is defined by every dictionary , include all religions.
