Atheist worship

Atheists never seem to want to ask you what you believe, they would rather tell you what you believe so as to better construct their straw men.

The record is clear now. You have told us what you believe. Now we have a resource to back you up whenever you are misrepresented. For example we know that you believe there is power in the blood. We know that you believe Romans Chapter 1 is about a lot of things.

It's funny, I don't see the OP cartoon as appropriate to the situation at all.
Because basically it's only Christians vs Atheists here.
The Irony being Christians don't believe in ie, Hinduism either!
(they'd be yelling at each other if we did, and both would be yelling at Muslims, etc.)

“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do.
When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

- Stephen Roberts

It's only the Atheist that has the perspective to see the [obvious] contradiction in all the Different/thousands of 'gods' man created. Ergo, would be instructive and humorous to have posters from Many/100/1000 religions here posting their Contradictory creation Myths.

That's all that you were going to say? I'm very disappointed.

What do you want? Jesus' flesh is reconstituted in the process of the priest putting the wafer into your mouth and thus you become a cannibal???

No. Magic is not real. It's all drivel.

That's all that you were going to say? I'm very disappointed.

There is nothing else to say. Can you remember what it was like before you were born? It will be just like that when you are dead, as it will be for all of us.

Really? When have you died? I often find people that speculate on what is perceived after death to be hilariously lacking in any credibility.

So far nobody has undied so it's a mystery, though I like to think of it as the ultimate adventure.

I'm going to start holding my breath right now.

It would be nice and maybe more appropriate if you address your own questions, first.

Good day to ya' V

Question: What do you believe about Jesus' blood?

It was probably red. It has already dried up and decomposed by now.

Question: What do you believe about the resurrection?

It never happened. That's insanity.

Question: What do you believe Romans Chapter 1 is about?

Romans Chapter 1 is about people with a reprobate mind. These are people who have rebelled against God to the point where they have been cut off from any opportunity from accessing God. They have lost all ability at reason. They have lost all ability to distinguish right from wrong. These are people who cannot be trusted at all. That's what Romans Chapter 1 is about. To sum it up I could say that it is about lots of things but I'll refrain from being a complete coward.

Question: What do you believe about hell?

It doesn't exist and a belief in hell has little philosophical value. I think the evidence for hell in the Bible isn't too strong either. The hell we hear about is an exaggeration of vague references in scripture. The hell we hear about is probably derived from other non-Judeo-Christian cultures.

Question: What do you believe about the followers of other sects of Christianity that have different opinions than yours? What is their fate?

The ones who don't follow the Bible have belief systems contrary to historical Christianity. These people will not receive the full philosophical benefit that was intended by the authors of the text. They are frauds who enjoy country club membership in a place that teaches American culture and places a Christian label on it. As an atheist I hate them passionately for destroying one of the greatest influences on Western Civilization. If I was a Christian it would be easy to notice that those frauds are walking on dangerous ground. At minimum they cheat themselves out of the blessings of God. At most they have damned their own souls and the souls of thousands of others. They are worse than Hitler. Well. Maybe not worse just identical. I think Hitler abused Christianity too.

I must be missing something so I'll defer to what you are suggesting. Best wishes...

Asserting a non-Christian view in the religious forum will get you thread banned or will result in an infraction. Atheist can participate in the religious forum but they can't assert their atheism. It's Just Me has an atheistic view about the questions that I have asked. That's why he is afraid to answer the questions in the religious forum.

Now I follow, I did not realize that was a rule. Should I expect to get warning and/or points because I answered a question in a religious forum from an agnostic perspective?

Yes. (A certain moderator) reads the religious forums religiously. If he reads it then you will get in trouble. It'll probably just be a warning. I have never got points for violating the religious forums but I have got thread banned and received warnings.

See post #73 in this thread written by It's Just Me. He acts like he wants the opportunity to assert his beliefs.

See post #92 in this thread written by vasuderatorrent. I give him the opportunity.

See post #95 in this thread written by It's Just Me. He declines the opportunity.

He has no desire to assert his beliefs. He doesn't want to be boxed in. He wants the freedom to win every argument without consequences. His views are more in line Machivellan Mormonism than Christianity.

Good luck finding out what it's just me thinks about these topics. He's too afraid to have an opinion. It might offend somebody or cause him to lose arguments. He held his breathe when waiting for me to answer. I answered within minutes. I'm not dumb enough to hold my breath while I wait for his answer.

I've got points for asking why the spiritualist gibberish is any more credible than the Hindu gibberish. A bit hard I think when you consider that the thread was a challenge for her to show that her religion was the best.
