I'm a militant and you're still breathing? LOL!

Well here's Obama's numbers, sport. See for yourself what a disaster he is.

Now, since you didn't have insight on those things (and the 10% yacht tax example from yesterday), how in the Sam Hill do you purport yourself to know anything that you're talking about?

So you didn't understand my blind men and the elephant reference citing all religions hold truth, does this mean everything religious not approved by you is false?

You have put your finger on the nub.

There is no "correct" one. Whichever one works for the individual, is the one that's right. They each have their positives and negatives, but for the most part, people are highly influenced by the dominant religion in the culture in which they grow up. I grew up in a heavily Christian culture, and although I don't practice it anymore, all my core beliefs are influenced by it, at least in some respects.

When a religion or faith inspires a person to become a better person, when it creates love, unity and virtues, it is a correct religion or faith.

"Look at their fruits to recognize them."

That's incorrect. The resurrection stands as solid as a Rock. That is, unless you think you can bust it. So far, no one has.

Can you explain?

It's all laid out in the Gospels.

"My religious book is true because the religious book says it's true!"

Typical religious response. That is not evidence. It's just an empty, circular claim.

I understand your argument, alright. But it's horse dung. Did you read the reasons why it's a bad argument, that I provided?

There are many religions in the world. They can't all be true. What happens to a person who chooses the wrong one?

Thanks for the link but no thanks.

You should read, like, a page of it. It's hysterical.

Full of "references" to stuff like YouTube videos of well-known hacks debating with strawmen and quote mining.

See, that's your mistake.

For instance, in the first century, the "New Testament" alone wasn't in one 'book." it consisted of over two dozen separate manuscripts floating around different localities.

Glad to help you out!

You're the one assuming not even one alone can be true. That's wishful thinking.

What would you know? It's quite obvious you've never spent even 15 minutes doing any real, in-depth research on the Gospels, etc.

Uh, I know. But it's a book now, isn't it.

What difference does this make to the obviously circular and ridiculous nature of its claims?

Actually, the problem starts off with the title. I highlighted the problem word:

"12 Historical Facts (Most Critical Scholars Believe These 12 items)"

Belief doesn't equal fact.

See, that's your mistake.

So what? That doesn't make them true. Yet more religious "logic".

You're the one assuming not even one alone can be true. That's wishful thinking.

You assume that one is true. Why? What will happen to people who don't assume your religion? Be a brave Christian and actually answer my questions for once.

If it's ridiculous try busting the resurrection. You'll be the first. None of the others posting here have been able to even make a dent in it.

Dude, it's your claim. You're the one with the burden of proof.

Given that you can't give any except "this ancient fairytale says so," my work is already done for me.

There is but one absolute truth and that's Christianity as the Bible is the Word of God and Christianity is a religion based on the truth of God's Word.

Dude, it's your claim. You're the one with the burden of proof.

Given that you can't give any except "this ancient fairytale says so," my work is already done for me.

Nope. It's already historically documented. So if you're out to disprove Christianity you'll need to deal with it.

Now I understand it's like poison to you folks because you'll make one lame excuse after another not to deal with it head-to-head. All of you do that. Constantly.

So if it's so ridiculous it shouldn't be the least bit difficult to expose why the independent, historical accounts of the resurrection are so bogus. And if you can't bust it, you shouldn't sleep well from now on, understanding what's on the other side of death.
