A Robot In Every House In The Future

Scientists claim in the future robots or droids will be a part of every household so I ask you this. let's say (remember this is speculation and not real yet) we could all easily afford one today. Also know these robots would so closely resemble humans that they are often mistaken for humans. Simple question, would you feel comfortable having one in your home?
 
Who says that they would resemble humans?
Something like that might take a century.

Depends on their function.

If they just sat there moping and eating (robot teenagers) then no.

If they cleaned my house every morning and cooked dinner, then yes.
