That level of voluntary ignorance has to be indoctrinated from very early childhood.

The buoyancy of my watercraft has nothing to do with theories and hoaxes... apparently yours does.
I do have a rudimentary understanding of some scientific principals.
You choose to ignore those well understood principals in the hope that some supernatural quid pro quo will give you eternal life.
That is your fantasy.
You have proven de-evolution right here on this page.
No one can help you in your voluntary ignorance.
That is something you will have to overcome yourself.

If science insisted the hoaxes were true, despite evidence to the contrary, you might have a point.

But science accepts being proven wrong as part of the scientific process, and (if done correctly) has built-in procedures to weed out hoaxes and bad data.

Religious dogmatists love bad data and will defend bad data to the death. As long as it is in their books of magic.
It is a lifestyle that is based on selfish, wishful thinking and is anti-knowledge in every sense of the word.
Willful ignorance is one of the saddest conditions to find a human being in and the prevalence of the condition is alarmingly common.

Religion does not work off data - it works off belief.

If you believe something, and especially if that belief includes a "higher power", anything that appears to disagree with said belief can be explained away.

A species or population becoming smaller is not "de-evolution." "De-evolution" doesn't exist.
