If You Were Given The Power To Do One Thing, One Time What Would You Do?

If some miraculous force gave you one thing to do, one time only to do of your own choosing. After you made your choice this power is gone forever.
My choice would be to end hunger.
 
I would remove violence from human thought and action for all time.
 
I'd turn myself into a wish granting genie that can provide one wish to those with a good heart.

I'll start with rhinefire who wishes to end world hunger.
 
I'd throw Obama, Biden, Holder, Pelosi, and the liberals on the Supreme Court and other courts and offices, the hell out of office. For life.
 
The Confederacy would win the American Civil War.
 
a couple good suggestions so far. one that hasn't been mentioned yet : eliminate greed.
 
That is a great and difficult question. I would wish that all humans would have loving compassion for each other.

Employ the fictional "Nanite Defuser" from Sid Meier's game Civilization, thus relegating all nuclear weapons or power immediately ineffective and non-functioning.

That would surely level the playing field overnight.

I would like life to be fair - for all.
 
I'd go back and make women physically as strong as men.

With that, feminazism couldn't exist in the future.

And global conflict will ensue. Although this isn't really the appropriate thread, nukes are perhaps the only thing preventing large-scale war from happening.

My wish? That no other person or being be given the opportunity to have their own wish. God knows what the consequences will be (as we've seen in this very thread)
 
I'd find out where we really came from...even if nobody believed me.
 
Eliminate greed in humans.
 
Establish communism.
 
I'm not sure I'd do anything which sounds so humanitarian, as much as I would be inclined toward greatly increasing human self-awareness, personal insight, and general intelligence, so that miraculous-sounding events wouldn't even need consideration.

Quick! Jump back to the beginning of man and forcibly and permanently implant a specific set of morals in their minds that they would rigidly follow. These would include; Do not Murder; Be honest; Always seek to improve your community, because it will in turn enhance your own life; Respect is necessary for a community to thrive, but it must only be given to those who have earned it; Obey your lord fully unless it can be proven that he puts his own interests before those of the country; and many other useful rules.
I would also give them a text of my rules and regulations for all men, along with a complete guide to early sciences and the human psyche. The texts would be in Latin, and I would of course teach them how to read them.

I hope that those don't conflict with the "one only" rule, as they would be done at the same time and are at least somewhat related.
