Howdy :)

If you have fallen to the bottom and have lost everything, including job, income and generally speaking hope, would you rather start committing crimes like stealing, mugging, etc. to survive or you would just kill yourself?

I would probably start committing crimes, though hopefully in a Robin Hood sort of way, like concocting great, but absolutely embarrassing schemes like robbing cops while they are armed and having a donut and coffee in their patrol cars, or other ingenius, comedic acts such as that.

Everything is not lost along with your current job and income. Unemployment is usually no more than a state in which your skills do not match your previous employer's needs. If you feel able to switch careers to crime, which likely means acquiring new skills/tools, then perhaps you really are not looking at the situation correctly. Is it not also possible for you to acquire new skills/tools for some more productive purpose?

There just has to be a way to get in and out of the Louvre, after hours.

Dunno, did you take it that I speak for myself?

What's wrong with the world's oldest profession?

By which I mean begging, of course.

In my life that has happened; I re-aligned my goals

Sometime there may be little hope; There is always determination and will and honor.

Speaking of will, my older boy is named Will and lives by the adage " where there's a Will there is a way " ( funny but true story )

'Giddit dun' or die; tryin' ain't enuf. ;)

I think I would beg but I would kill myself before I ever do harm unto others but I think my opinion may odd given the way I was raised

I don't see why I couldn't do both... I'd probably turn to crime, but I would be really calm when I mugged people. I'd be like "Sorry man, but I got four kids, and they're hungry. You have to put food on the table somehow."

There was until recently, for many decades, even a couple of hundred years unnoticed. Supposedly a secret tunnel for the king to mount with his various mistresses as he had their husbands occuppied elsewhere in the palace. It was sealed last year with little report. Apprarently for fear others still might be unaccounted for.

No kidding? Can't they do a survey or some ****? Well, I suppose it's overkill anyway. Imagine trying to get in there. Mission Impossible, dude.

This has happened to me. Although it was very difficult at the time, it ended up being the most liberating experience of my entire life. To lose everything, including who/what you thought you were, shows you what you actually are.

I respect if some people would choose to exit life at such a point. Maybe for them, their work here is done, or they need to leave to continue their work in a different way. For others, hitting such a rock bottom is exactly what they need. Only in the most adverse of all circumstances is your inner resistance finally released along with all the extraneous bull**** that never mattered in the first place. There is a pure clarity there that many people would never come face to face with had they not been forced to.

I believe the universe is friendly. If you have an ounce of will remaining and have the strength to take one step forward, the universe will take a hundred steps toward you. Despite popular propaganda, the world is filled with compassionate people who will go out of their way to help you, and lead you to resources again. It's basic human nature, otherwise we never would have evolved as a species.

So, I too must say neither.

Both are the reactions of a weak-minded idiot.
