The Flying Spaghetti Monster

I'm not so sure this thread is going to be read by anybody.

Oh my and I thought my youtubes were slow to get views. Poor thing. I made it about 15 secs in, can't understand you and the flickering but otherwise stagnant image it way too annoying.

When I played the video from my computer I could hear it just fine. I thought the audio was very good. I know the video is boring as all get out.

For those of you who can't hear the song very clear, here are the words.

Sorry Summerwind. I didn't realize.

Words to the Song said:
We stand up tall
Lift high to sing
But some be short
Extra touching
Gravity
It is a farce.
We know he's real
He's in our heart.

Some say our way
It is a joke.
And to them
We do say, "Nope"
How can we laugh
of spaghetti?
Humor and tol-
erance is key.

We do like peace
Just like a dove.
No one's been killed
By noodley love.
Tolerance strong
Our morals weak.
Paradox
Noodles need heat.

We do uphold
An open mind
And seek for times
To be kind.
We don't want truth
Ever be missed.
It's possible
He don't exist.

Don't you understand how sophomoric this 'Flying spaghetti monster' schtick is?

Definition of sophomoric said:
soph·o·mor·ic [sof-uh-mawr-ik, -mor-] adjective. 1. of or pertaining to a sophomore or sophomores. 2. suggestive of or resembling the traditional sophomore; intellectually pretentious, overconfident, conceited, etc., but immature: sophomoric questions.

shtick or schtick (ʃtɪk) — noun. slang a comedian's routine; act; piece

That sounds like a reasonable assumption. This thread was about my song. Did you like it? Hate it? Thought it could use improvement?

I have to assume that Jesus, Mohammed and Joseph Smith received criticism as well. I'm not sure about the history of Islam but Jesus and Joseph Smith pissed people off so bad that they were killed.

Your criticism is not earth shattering or discouraging.

Don't quit your day job

This has nothing to do with philosophy and it's not interesting.

I think it would be more appropriate as a Religious Topic.

Not everybody would agree with that.

If you haven't read the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster this song won't make any sense to you. This is a song of inspiration for other Pastafarians but Pastafarians are hard to find.

My song is flawlessly consistent with Pastafarian Scripture.

The rules prevent proper placement, but it's still a pointless topic with no relation to actual philosophy.

Those evil rukes! How I loathe them

C'mon. You even looked up the words I used. Yes, it was reasonable to assume you didn't understand but you must know now what I meant.

Of course it isn't. Casual dismissal is barely even criticism.

Maybe you should use a combination of various emoticons to express yourself.

Meh. I thought of that, but they don't have one with the little dude clapping his hands over his ears.
