The mass exodus of Christians from the Muslim world | Fox News

A mass exodus of Christians is currently underway. Millions of Christians are being displaced from one end of the Islamic world to the other.
We are reliving the true history of how the Islamic world, much of which prior to the Islamic conquests was almost entirely Christian, came into being.
The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom

recently said: “The flight of Christians out of the region is unprecedented and it’s increasing year by year.” In our lifetime alone “Christians might disappear altogether from Iraq, Afghanistan, and Egypt.”

Iraq, Syria, and Egypt are part of the Arab world. But even in “black” African and “white” European nations with Muslim majorities, Christians are fleeing.

Even in European Bosnia, Christians are leaving en mass

“amid mounting discrimination and Islamization.” Only 440,000 Catholics remain in the Balkan nation, half the prewar figure.
Problems cited are typical: “while dozens of mosques were built in the Bosnian capital Sarajevo, no building permissions [permits] were given for Christian churches.” “Time is running out as there is a worrisome rise in radicalism,” said one authority, who further added that the people of Bosnia-Herzegovina were “persecuted for centuries” after European powers “failed to support them in their struggle against the Ottoman Empire.”

A holy war of epic proportions is brewing. To these jihadist Muslims, there is no room for Christians on the planet, and negotiations are not possible.

And you hear almost nothing in the media about this.

If Christians and Muslims want to kill each other so badly, can they at least show some courtesy and leave the rest of us out of it?

Radical Islamists want the atheists to die too.

Just like a lot of Christians do. We'd like both groups to grow up and act like adults. Or at least go away and leave us the hell alone.

Huh? Care to name some christian groups that want to murder all non-Christians?

What a joke! :lamo

When is the last time you were threatened with death by a Christian because you are an atheist. :lamo

Christians account for 90 percent of the charity and humanitarian efforts on the planet, yet atheists insist on equating them to radical Muslims. Please show me the worldwide charitable outreach efforts from Islamists.

And before you go the "small percentage of disenfranchised" route, the Boston bombers had a pretty good life here,.and and killed eight-year-olds with a bomb for Allah anyway.

None of the 9/11 terrorists were poor, either... and bin Laden was rich.

I've been threatened with "you're going to go Hell" many times by Christians simply because I don't want to be a christian .
That happens way more times than Islamist terrorists have tried try kill me.

Stop muddying the real threat with false threats.

So what do we do about "the real threat"?
If people are out there wanting to kill me and my family,I want to know what we can do to protect ourselves.
What do you suggest I do?

I recognize the fact that radical Islam is a serious threat.
And I support efforts to combat terrorism.

But I l also know to keep a eye on my freedoms when christians are around, because they don't have a perfect track record themselves.

This thread is a classic case study.

The article descrjbes Christians fleeing for their lives in Muslim-dominated parts of the world, and the libs here are rushing into the thread to trash Christians.

Of course, I knew this before I posted it.

Good luck with that. Would you rather live in a "radical Christian" land like the United States or radical Islam like Iran?

Did these Christians threaten to send you there at that time?

You don't believe in hell. So how does that impact you?

No,but it's freaking annoying and rude when they do that, and I wish they would stop that.

Tell them. If they don't listen avoid them. Not everyone, Christian or not, is rude and belligerent.

But, if you don't actually believe in Hell how can you possibly find this threatening?

Well the KKK springs to mind pretty quickly. But I'm sure you'll tell me that they're just a political group and the burning crosses, religious iconography and mantra to kill non-Christians (specifically non-Protestants) is just a coincidence. Likewise, the neo-Nazi movement is heavily rooted in Christianity and preaches the murder of non-Christians.

What does this have to do with not wanting to be caught up in someone else's crazy religious wars? The OP is practically salivating at the prospect of Christianity and Islam having it out with no regard that the rest of us live on this planet too and don't want anyone blowing it up over their nonsense.

Why are you muddying up the thread spouting apologist lines? This thread isn't about US-based groups of Christian supremacists. It's about war. I don't want to be caught up in a religious war between people over their primitive beliefs. And the eagerness that some people have for such a war scares me. Especially the ones who actually believe that their religion compels them towards such a war and they look forward to the end of the world. That's terrifying.

Good luck with that. Would you rather live in a "radical Christian" land like the United States or radical Islam like Iran?

The United States is a secular country. Radicals of any religion are marginalized and kept from obtaining power. Though radical Christians are afforded a lot more power that they don't deserve than any other radical religious groups. A radical Christian country would be one like Congo or Zambia.

I far prefer modern secular countries.

Don't tell me what I do or don't believe in? That's another nasty habit a lot of Christians tend to have around here.
Telling people what they can/cannot or do/do not believe in
I never once stated I was an atheist.I stated that "I don't want to be a christian".
That's not then same thing as being an atheist.
Christians do not own God,or the concept of Hell.
The relationship between God and I is nobody elsw's business but ours.
Only the Supreme can determine where I go when I die,not the Christians
And there are a lot of them here on DP who don't seem to understand that.

How does it impact me? It doesn't,other than the fact that I find it annoying and wish whoever is doing it would just STFU and go away.
If you have evidence that Islamist terrorists are targeting me and my family for assassination,or that a terrorist group is planning an attack on American soil, please, inform the proper authorities.
I have way to much on my plate right now to worry about what a bunch of whatever religious nutjobs think of me.

I believe in and support protecting our country from terrorist attack, but I refuse to join in the "let's hate all the Muslims" sing-a-long that's popular here on DebatePolitics.com

I do, believe me I do. I never had a problem telling people what I think of them.

No every Muslim is trying to kill either.
If that was the case,my good buddy Hassan (owns a great Lebanese restaurant) could have done it two weekend ago on my boat when we went fishing together.
(caught a 12 lb lake bass that day.)

Once I finish writing this post,I'm going to see if anyone actually answered the question "So what do we do about "the real threat"?
If people are out there wanting to kill me and my family,I want to know what we can do to protect ourselves.
What do you suggest I do? " I asked in post #15.
Because as far as I can tell you sure as hell haven't.
