Does the language you speak shape how you think?

I think there is even some evidence to suggest that language shapes what a person experiences. I'm not sold on it, but I find the idea interesting.

I am convinced that language does shape what a person is able to think. This can be most easily seen by someone who spends a lot of time studying ancient languages. There are ideas that can be expressed in Attic Greek, for instance, in a few words that it would take probably a few hundred English words to convey...
