Do Atheists Celebrate Thanksgiving?

Thanking God is not something reserved for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a celebration of getting over an idiotic communal approach to growing crops. They almost died, and then changed their approach to raising food.

Man....perfectly good Phillip K Dick reference wasted.

Oh you, get out of your high castle.

Are you calling women livestock?

You know, I'd like to think you were kidding. But, with the lack of intellect you've expressed in this thread, I'm not sure. And, with your ability to extrapolate from out of nowhere, I don't want to risk making a joke or we might end up with a "Do [Supposed] Womanizer's Celebrate Mother's Day?" thread.

Hey guys, we don't need to grow nothin'. Just kill the Indians and take their stuff!

It was a joke, but pretty much what happened from what I've gathered.

Actually they grew their own crops in a non-communal manner, and had more than they needs. That's why they gave thanks.

Meh, I'm pretty sure they gave thanks for the Indians not having guns.

Take that, redskins! Manifest Destiny! Boom!

I thought you were being humerous, so was I.

Yes, but I vaguely recall the 'Nancy' being from a movie, I just cannot remember which.

Now this feels awkward like eco just caught American taking a peek at his junk when they were in the John.
