What two people would you have to dinner? Why?

I like a few of the things that she wrote. I would like to meet her and see who she really is. The Pirate is a good idea. I like that.
But then you have an open mind, and the capability and intellect to be sift the wheat from the chaff without referencing using dogma;)

I could name some, but the post would be so long my hands would cramp up to hell and gone.

I gotta go with jalls though on one thing, BL zeebub would never get a decline based on the combination of his humor, his cooking prowess, and his headless wife's legs.
Thank you Friar, my headless wife, is a pro at waiting on table, I captured her from the Cruise Line Industry, the first 6 yrs of her career she was a maitre d for Celebrity in the Carrib.

She is one of the strongest and bravest women I have ever had the pleasure of;)

One of the stories I would force her to tell, was when a fuel line in the engine room broke, and a massive fire broke out, the Master ordered the stage before abandon ship, my wife did her duty getting her team to get the passengers to their lifeboat stations, she then did the role call at her station, left her assistant in charge, put a fire proof suit on and join her firefighting team ( she had gained her firefighting training from the Miami Coastguard)They controlled the fire, the ship with the great skill of the Master was able to return to port without the need of a dangerous "at sea evacuation" just as they docked a boiler blew so they had a bit more work before bedtime.

This is not the Master in question, but he his the best she sailed with.

He is our best friend and also fearless, when it was difficult to find Captains to sail fuel tankers into the gulf in gulf war 1, as an ex tanker Captain, Nikko did it, the baseball cap he is wearing I think was given to him by the American Navyimg003.webpclic on pic

I would have old friends and new, if I win the euro lotto tonight £37million check your pm tomorrow, you know who you are.

So my second choice would be as this is fantasy, the man who wrote my epitaph and Spike Milligan who although bi-polar and dead was one of the funniest men alive:lol:his real tombstone has only these simple words on it.

I told you I was Ill:lol::lol:

Jallers dont you think by the time they both finished saying "Grace" it would be time for breakfast;)

Wow that would be one hell of a grace. They must have a lot to be thankful for. :3oops:

Maya Angelo and Oprah

Camile Paglia & Rosemary Altea. I think Camile has an open enough mind to hear Rosemary.

Roger Ebert and J.R.R. Tolkein. We'd watch the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy while we ate (since this is a fantasy situation, I'm assuming the meal can be infinitely long).

Reverend hellhound!!!! he makes great ribs

Brian Greene and Moses.

I would love to have a meal with my all time favorite singer and song writer Waylon Jennings and George Washington . Waylon and I could write a song and George and I would chat about what the founders really wanted.

Marquis de Sade and then Cleopatra or Nefertiti or Hatshepsut.... I can't decide which.

Need a question before I can answer.
Can I ask them questions bout things that happened after their death?
Realistically, I would chose highly driven but well intentioned leaders of current time (political, social, small business, large business, it doesnt matter) and try and find a niche for my skills in a team worth working for. One that does good work, and get rewarded FAIRLY for it.

But I would like marx's after thoughts on 20th century "comunism", and many others. Also any genuine strategic mastermind.

I can isolate 2 themes of people, but no 2 people.

1) revolutionaries who tried revolution. To hear their thoughts on the nature of revolutionary political change, how things emerged, and how they feel about how things emerged based on what ahppened later. Exploring the laws of unintended consequence, in the context of politically revolutionary behaviour (be it violent or otherwise. So of these people will be heros of myne. Others, monsters. But both their insights would be valuable).

2) Tactical masterminds. Able to disasemble the world into cause and effect understandings, acknowleging and coping with both multifaceted causality, and laws of unintended consequence.

This is with the aim of better understanding human behaviour, and shaping things in a constructive manner from a strategic standpoint. Without falling victim to the typical problem --> reaction --> solution + violence = thugs take over .'. worse off than before dillemas.

I would like to have dinner with John Travolta and his hottie wife Kelly Preston. I visited them in Florida when I was on holiday last year. I didn't meet Kelly Preston but I saw and talked with "Danny Zuko" when he was driving a gulf cart. His son Jett (jumala teitä) was in the cart with him.

Two people in history I would like to have dinner is Cleopatra VII and Catherine the Great. I would think Cleopatra would have much to say having been with both Caesar and Marc Anthony. I would ask Catherine if she thought Russia has made any progress since she ruled back in the 17th century. Then I would ask her why she killed so many men.
