Oh, I forgot, no one here has any idea who I am!! I joined a few weeks back, and posted about 5 times. I then went away to argentina. So to all the PF people who knew me, I am back. To all of you who don't I am part of the massive influx from PF, though this is not the point of this thread. The point is I love Buenos Aires!! Here is why....
- The food!! I ate the best steak I have ever eaten in my entire life. Great homemade pasta, dulce de leche(carmel), and many other great things. The real highlight was the beef though, and the price of everything. My last night there, I went to the best steak house in Buenos Aires called Cabana Las Lilas. This place would have been 100+ dollars to eat at in the US, and I got dinner for about 40 dollars. That is not super cheap, but for the quality it was. Even more so, I spent the rest of the week going to good trendy restaurants with great food, and was spending more along the lines of 20 dollars, again for what would be 2-3 times more in the US
- Great looking women!! There are not an overabundance of 10s, but there were 8s and better everywhere. And they all liked me, as I got luckier in Buenos Aires than I have in my whole life. All the girls loved me and my american friends. The nightclub scene was great(though a few too many trannies for my taste  )
- Going on the same pattern of inexpensive trip. The alcohol was very good, and very inexpensive. One night me and my 2 friends all got drunk, including buying drinks for girls all for about 150 pesos. Which is only about 40 bucks!! In chicago I couldn't get myself drunk for 40 dollars. Also, argentine beer called Quilmes is really good, and really cheap. About 1 us dollar for a liter bottle of beer.
- The city itself was really nice. There is no monument, or touristy locations you have to see, but for 3 guys in their early 20s it could not have matter less!!
All in all it was a great trip, probably the second best of my life, right behind my trip to Paris in 2003!!! It is good to see so many familiar faces again. I recommend Buenos Aires highly to anyone planning a vacation.
