I am on my way to my first blind date ever! I am nervous and excited all at the same time. Okay, more nervous than excited.
It is with a friend of a friend. All I know about him is he just graduated with a political science degree so we should have lots to talk about.

It's as if they took the crusade for gay civil rights to a level where they teach political science to the next generation - an interesting strategy. The class was all about civil rights, political activism and how to get new legislation passed. Actually I enjoyed it and was impressed with his knowledge of history and court cases. I gave him the DVD series of The West Wing so his future classes wouldn't have to watch it on the sh itty VCR tapes he had that had been played way too many times.

The date really was not so great. He was good looking, seemed intelligent and an all around nice person, but there was no real "click".
The guy I met while I was waiting for the blind date is cool though. | |
