Damn straight. I like to threaten. Call 'em up and say, "Hey Vern. Did you know dey's a redneck in the family? No ****. Got a flat black, 15 year old Camaro with a busted window an bald tires and all, and it's got your name spray painted on the side in hot pink. I ain't kiddin."
 
I am distantly related to a senator, the guy who created the common tobacco which is used for cigarettes, french royalty, and british poverty. Also some famous musician from the 30's but can not remember for the life of me who he was.
 
According to an ancestry.com dna test I did. I'm related to:

Benjamin Franklin
King George 2nd
Genghis Khan
Vlad 3rd (Dracula) but neither of his wives, my great grandmother was a Romanian gypsy so I'm guessing rape of one her ancestors.
2 dudes only people in India have ever heard of (Big surprise that someone from India got in the Gene Pool)
And I'm 31 percent cherokee, not a big surprise considering the part of TN I'm from.
