Amazing box of amazingness just came to my door.

So, Liitle background on this box:

A month ago, we bought a single bar of Strauss Chocolate. My wife is a picky Chocolate eater, being as she grew up in Germany she find American chocolate to be "Waxy ****". So I oft buy her different stuff trying to find that "good bar".

Well I got a bar of Israeli chocolate from our HEB. Problem, a big had gotten into. So we sent pictures to the company, explained everything, said "WE DON'T WANT ANY THING JUST ALTERING YOU TO THE MATTER"

Evidently, that wasn't in the card. There is a fairly good sized box of air mailed chocolate behind me.

That... is a-mazing. Seriously.

A bug crawled out from inside the chocolate. Seeing as it couldn't gotten in anywhere in the chain we were just alerting them.
 
Have you tried See's chocolates?

I believe they are only on west coast, but supposed to have some of the best chocolate in the USA

My wife is German also...and also has an affinity for European chocolates...Swiss and German

But she will eat See's on occasion

So instead of having one bar from a company that has bug issues, now you have lots. Eww, I wouldn't eat them, same place made them, same bugs are in them, just probably more dead and crushed up in the "good" bars.

Maybe, but seeing as the route to ship here is long, it could have been anywhere. The goodies in the box ARE AMAZING. OMG.. best chocolate I've had yet.

One time affair in a long haul shipping isn't going to excite me. IF I get anymore bugs or hear about such... i'll get excited.

What sort of bug was it? Locusts are kosher, but the rest aren't.

their chocolate confectionery was in the next building when i was working in cali for a year. spent a lot of breaks there trying out the daily fresh crafted candies. build your own box while eating samples
12 hour days and seven day weeks sitting at a desk, initially. acquired a box-a-day habit and a belly to match


dove milk chocolate is my go-to vice these days

OMG, See's chocolates are to die for. Really hard to find out here in the boonies, but anyone who gave me a box of heaven in a See's wrapper was instantly a friend for life.
