1) In most companies anymore, hiring goes through a Human Resources Department (HR), and HR is overwhelmingly women.
2) This presumes men will sacrifice their own profit to keep the secret club for men intact. Phfft! If anything, they got their job, so they'd hire more women to maximize their profits.
