What's so great about them, just out of curiosity?
I mean, what do people like about them?
Why are they special?
(Not implying that anyone- with any color eyes- is not great and special and deserving of acclaim; rather, sincerely curious about people's feelings on the matter).

People are always telling me how pretty my eyes are but on a functioning level they suck. I'm blind as a bat. Plus, according to my eye dr. my pale skin and blue eyes put me at risk for having that macular degeneration, which sounds like a pain in the a$$, when I'm older. |

My husband has blue eyes.
He gets a lot of attention for and compliments on his eye color.
This has caused him to become vain about it.
I don't see what the big deal is.
It's not part of what makes him handsome to me, and it seems obscurely racist or xenophobic or anglocentric or something. | |

I rarely see anyone with light-colored eyes that I don't think would look just as attractive- if not more so- with dark ones. | |

They seem to stick out from other colors.
I have what they call 'bedroom eyes' 'greenish brown'.
My wife has blue eyes. She is a former Miss New Hampshire. One look at her while we were skiing was enough for me but when I saw her pretty blue eyes that was it for me. | |
