Yes, I will purchase most things shinny and new, my weakness is off grid products, the newest and best portable solar panel gives the woodsman a woody.

Survival and military shinny stuff also gets me aroused. I’m not sure what this is, I love gadgets. I don’t over spend on this obsession, I actually have a monthly budget and stick to it $75.00 per month.

I saved up for the latest gadget purchase, Amazon Echo, I have to say it was a great purchase and I had a little left over in the budget after two months for a shinny tactical knife.

Any good good gadget ideas out there?

Do you have one?

No I'm backordered too. I do have another one that goes on a regular growler, it's hard to regulate the pressure so I had been looking to try something better, these one's looked pretty sweet. I have both a 64 & 128 in copper ordered.

If you will follow the link to the website < Fagan's Side > and look for the link to Solar Reflex Heater, you will find a unique Thermal Solar/Insulating panel. Not PV although a PV option is possible with flexible PV. I'm not selling these panels, but would be happy to describe how to build one. If you build a bunch of them, like 10 or 20, they'll cost about $.80 (cents) per each. The logic is too simple. People will say the sun is already coming in through the window so nothing could possibly be gained. Not so, because infra red radiation, convection, and conduction are two way streets. Translation is that while sunshine (heat) is coming in the window, heat is also radiating out the window, and at freezing temperatures (32 degrees), equilibrium is reached ergo no solar gain. At Zero degrees there is great heat loss. If you will give careful perusal to the photos of installed panels, you will see they can be an attractive decor option, as well as, a functional utility (thermal heating and insulation) with a payback of about one month for the homemade options. I have a patent on the device, but that does not preclude one from constructing their own. One sheet of 1/2 inch urethane foam or polyisocyanurate foam. Nice straight piece, flat black paint for the side facing outdoors or towards the sun, as the case may be. A razor knife and steel rule or straight edge. A tube of craft glue. A length of fishing line. If you have a window over three feet vertically, then cut three 36 inch by 8 inch pieces of foam after painting one side of the sheet with flat black paint. The black conducts the infra red into the air in intimate contact with the panel between the window and the panel. The air space. This airspace is caused by a three side fence 1/2 inch on the window glass side of the panel. Cut these 1/8th inch strips with the razor knife. Two three feet long minus one eigthth of an inch, and one 8 inches for the bottom. Glue with craft glue. The top edge (8 inch) does not have a fence. The sides and bottom can be flat black or covered with a decorative material that is also flexible. The panels are insulation, ergo, they will prevent heat loss from the inside moving out. When solar rays heat the flat black side of the panel, the black side expands and predictably distorts the panel into a curve, temporarily opening the bottom of the panel and initiating convection, in this case hot air rising and coming out the top of the panel, the top is already open (three sided fence). This conducts the heat coming from the sun into the home interior and prevents simultaneous heat loss because of the insulating factor created by the panel. Glue fishing line 1/3rd way down from the top of the panel and slide a picture frame hook under the top window trim intimate with the glass and tightly to the glass (important). This is why the top and bottom come away from the glass when the panel distorts like a rocking chair stave. Pat # 4,971,028 Look up the patent drawings. Because you're in New Hampshire.
