DES MOINES, Iowa (http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report)—Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin continued to air her grievances against President Obama on Friday, telling an audience at a Trump rally in Iowa that Obama was “single-handedly to blame” for her defeat in the 2008 general election.
“Like a lot of American families, we Palins had big plans and dreams—in this case, regarding me becoming Vice-President,” she said. “But you know who had to go and ruin those plans and dreams? President Obama.”
Palin said that Obama insured her defeat in 2008 “just like he has defeated so many other great Americans,” and that her family had paid the price.
“I can’t help thinking that, if I had been elected Vice-President, Bristol and Willow wouldn’t have gotten into that drunken brawl and Track wouldn’t have threatened his girlfriend and whatnot,” she said. “Thanks, Obama.”

Let's see, you were with Track and Bristol when they got into a brawl. Track was at your house when he assaulted his girlfriend?

Sure, Why not double down on your own stupidity? This woman is coming unhinged.

What ever happened to personal accountability?

Family Values?

OK lets say the VA did not provide him with adequate psychiatric care post combat. That is not hard to believe as the VA has had issues at times with healthcare delivery for decades.

So let's just say that was unfortunately the case here. Sarah Palin's family is not in the same situation that most veterans families are in because unlike most veteran's families, the cost of private psychiatric care is not an issue with her family as she is a multi-millionaire. So if she thought her son had some issues post combat and needed therapy yet was not getting it from the VA, why did she not make sure he got that therapy herself?

BTW, she has blamed the Obama Admin for this, but that article you are quoting is satire.

Well, of course it's Obama's fault! Remember the 2013 poll that showed that more Louisiana Republicans blamed Obama than blamed Bush for FEMA's lame response to Katrina in 2005?

Two point - one a question and the other a point of fact:

1) Who cares what she thinks? (This from a life long Goldwater Republican)

2) The VA, with all it's failings (and I can give first hand testimony about their failings and now have my own doctors), would not by any stretch of the imagination NOT give a Medal of Honor recipient the best care possible. I've seen them (MOH recipients) going down the halls, with a frigging honor escort to anywhere they wanted to go. The treatment given to those with the MOH by either the VA or the DoD, makes "first class treatment" seem like roughing it.

Also, I have no use for anyone that hits a woman. They are as low as child molesters in my book.

As an unrelated side note, like most white trash with money, Sarah Palin has terrible taste: Inside Sarah Palin's $2.5 Million Arizona Home

What exactly is it about that house that you find to be in "poor taste"?

I'm not Palin fan, far from it.

In fact I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 in large part because I wanted neither Palin nor McCain anywhere near the White House.

But claiming that house is in bad taste really causes me to question your taste.

I think this was a satire piece. The author is a comedian. It is called the Borowitz Report and says "The news, reshuffled."

A plastic ficus in the master bedroom for example. I was raised by an interior decorator, I do know what a tasteful home looks like. As as I also have a fair amount of white trash in my family, I know what white trash looks like as well. ;)
