When did Star Wars come to the theaters and anyone know how long the movie will be shown before it goes away?

I'd like to see it but want to wait until the crowds thin out.

The average movie tends to stay in theaters for about 6-8 weeks after their release depending on how successful they are. You have plenty of time to go see The Force Awakens. (Which I gladly vouch for.)

It premiered Dec. 17.

The crowds aren't that bad now. At least where I am.

Avitar was 34 weeks, I think about 20 in what could be called wide release. I dont think Star Wars holds up that well, so maybe 15 weeks in most theaters.

Also the next Imax release is Deadpool Feb 4 so they left all of Jan for Star Wars. The next really HUGE release is not till march 25, Batman v Superman.

VOTE TRUMP

I don't think so. Political advertisements not allowed here. Trump says/does things which mainstream politicians will never do.
That is what is attracting so many people to him. But there is a dark side to this person which transcends anything else.

Says who?

That would not make a lot of sense to me as this is a political site, and way more important as an identifier of the speaker than stuff like gender and political leaning is to advertise who we are supporting this go round. Kinda cuts to the quick of the matter with precision.

Now I ask you....who the heck could be against that??

Oh hell yeah... Birthday gift to me!
