Pantone has released their top colors of 2016 for fashion. They are serenity and rose quartz. If anyone cares. :)

I like the colors, but I'm not much into fashion. I'm mostly blue jeans and tee shirt kind of guy.

But those colors would make for an interesting tuxedo or suit and tie.
 
They look like the typical "baby room" colors, based on gender, to me.

Also known as blue & pink. Not that there is anything wrong with blue or pink. Reminds me of picking out paint colors for my newborns rooms.
 
Well, rose is a color, as is dusty rose. "Serenity" isn't blue!

I think you would look good in anything. Or in nothing at all.

Fashion is a competition between women.

Men don't nothing clothing. Although they are wired to notice the absence of it.

Men only notice a pretty face and a great body.

Actually women take this very seriously.

The purse, shoes and belt must all match.

The jacket and skirt like a business suit must be of one cut of cloth. This is office or tv attire.

Flowing dresses are rare these days. But scarfs are always in, apparently.

I do not know where women stand on real leather these days. I know furs are out of style and have been for a long time due the cruelty to animals issue.

I myself prefer real leather to plastic or synthetics.

Our dairy industry (if you like milk and cheese) generates the byproducts of beef veal and leather.

So as long as we want to have some semblance of dairy, we must absorb the meat and leather byproducts.

Leather is still an excellent clothing item, just expensive because of the curing process.

I like leather. And when I see a woman wearing it I am impressed.

Synthetic clothing and synthetic jewelry do not impress me at all.

I took a woman (single-again white female) to the mall once on her birthday and I bought her whatever she wanted.

She wanted a business sport coat with a woman's cut but which looked like a man's.

She also wanted a new purse and shoes to match. It was her birthday so why not ??

I got her all those things and then we went over to the leather apparel shop at the mall. She had never been in here before.

I bought her a white leather motorcycle jacket and a white leather miniskirt and white leather boots to go with it.

All her friends noticed and commented on what I had bought her, and never said a thing about her new office attire.

Plus leather lasts a long time.

I'd never heard of it until a few years ago. They are some company who decides the colors of the year. That's about all I know.
