A very special little girl

Need the DP family to send Christmas cards to a very special little girl

Here is her story:

Orphaned burn victim loses family in arson attack. All she wants for Christmas are cards (4 Photos) : theCHIVE

The holidays are about a lot of things for different people

For this little girl, she wants Christmas cards

I am hoping her mailman has to retire from a bad back after the holidays is over....

I saw this in my local newspaper yesterday morning and sent her a card in the afternoon. It was wonderful to see that she wasn't asking for material things, even with all the heartache and difficulty in her young life. A perfect story for the time of year and any time of year.

I'm totally with you on this, Medusa! The dear little thing didn't ask for what happened to her, and I hope she gets lots of toys and other nice things for Christmas, in addition to the cards! :thumbs:
 
Along with the donation yesterday, i sent her a card

I enclosed a $ 10 bill in it

Told her it was just for her, and just for chocolates

I know there is misery in the world, and a lot of worthy people deserving help

This one tugged at every one of my heartstrings

One beautiful little girl, and for my Christmas wish, i hope they catch whoever set fire to the house

And somehow, someway they are reminded of the horror they caused....
