Star Wars prediction thread!

You know, in the EU Han and Leia are married and have twins with which the New Jedi order were training to be Jedis.

If they are NOT married in this film, well, the fangirls are going to go berserk.

Doesn't matter. This time the hero appears to be a female (in the spirit of sexual equality I guess). Since I'm a dyed-in-the-wool chauvinist (at least when it comes to fantasy/sci-fi books and movies) and prefer male heroes I can identify with, I won't be watching it.

I'll let my friends go and tell me if I missed anything. ;)

1. Not a chance. We've already got a pretty full roster of bad guys with Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), General Hux (Domnhall Gleeson), Captain Phasma (Gwendolyn Christie) and the ****ing Supreme Overlord or whatever his name is (Andy Serkis). And it really doesn't seem to fit with the mythos that Abrams is weaving together.
2. Not in this one, since all three (Ford, Fisher, Mayhew) are signed on for Episode VIII.
3. Possibly. He already did in Episode III:

4. This is pretty much a guarantee.
5. So is this.
6. Even going into the prequels, I was apprehensive. The trailers for the new one just give me the "don't worry fanbois, we got this" vibe.

I'll be there next Friday night at 7:10.

My brother's firm is doing a screening next saturday in the morning. saves me 30 bucks for the three of us. Normally I would wait-haven't seen the Last HG yet either

That's absurd. For starters, there appear to be several heroes, of which Rey is only one. Secondly, it's pretty asinine to pass up on good entertainment because the protagonist happens to have a vagina.

But hey, whatever floats your boat. You want to miss out, no skin off my ass.
