Let's try and keep it clean folks. Are there any skills, traits, or habits that you wish your significant other had? For example, a dedication to fitness, great singer or other type of musician, a warm/friendly personality, etc...

This is also a wish list for those who aren't in relationships as well. We'll consider rich and great at sex to be obvious.

My wife is great. The only thing I would improve is her English. It isn't her first language.

That just took the fun out of it.

If I can't talk dirty, then the only thing I can say is that my wife is perfect in every way.

I'm currently single, but there's a girl I'm particularly interested in at the moment. Her most immediately noticeable flaw would be that she puts too much effort into everything. Ordinarily, that's far from a negative trait, but she's spread herself thin quite a few times already, and she gets both physically and mentally exhausted when she does. Not a good habit for a college student, and sometimes I feel like she doesn't have enough time for herself.

I wish she had the ability to communicate better to me, what she actually wants me to do. We seem to speak two separate languages at times. Unlike BrewerBob who has a great built in excuse (that I unfortunately can't use), English is our first language.

Look up Love Languages by Gary Chapman. It might help.

After 35 years, I just say "Yes Ma'am," "I'm sorry," "I didn't mean to..., and "I thought that's what you wanted me to do?" Not necessarily in that order or even all at once.

To drive.... my gf doesn't know how to, she's from an island...so that's the excuse I come up with. I've tried teaching her, and she really wants to, but she gets very timid and scared.... and it's hard to say that driving isn't dangerous, because it can be, especially if you are a timid driver ...

That is a good thing to wish for...maybe the best thing, imo. Great communication can fix so many problems.
