Where's the rest of the mouse???

FYI I had rabbit a la cocotte last night. It was delicious, that cats were not invited to the table

OMG!

I woke up this morning to a mouse tail with a few mouse bits attached on the living room rug.

WHERE'S THE REST OF IT?

OMG!

Two cats swaggering around the house looking as though they're on patrol...one dog looking sad.

OMG!

In our case, the cat brings the mouse, the dog kills it and the cat eats it. Same thing with rabbits. The dog detests the cat playing with its food.

My cats have played 'slam dunk' many times with their food. At the house in PA, they practiced their badmitton techniques on chipmonks, left marks on the living room wall. Said it tenderized them.....

*evil laughter*

How did chipmunks get in your living room?

Shaking head, that ain't nuttin... I've stepped on more cold, wet piles of guts than I can count by now. I live in the country and the cats go hunting at night, bringing in the catch. They most of the time they leave the gut, tail and a foot or two. LJ leaves the hide. Sometimes at night I wake up to the crunch of bones and hope to remember that when I get out of bed in the morning... :(

What's worse is when they bring a mouse in, they never kill them outside and you wake to hearing the odd meow, high piercing squeals and then a strong CRUNCH!

No wait the worse is when they play with a mouse and it escapes under the frig or couch, then you have days of seeing the little rodent darting around until it finds the pee-nee butter baited trap...

I didn't realize I married a future crazy cat lady until it was waaaaay too late.... :3oops:
