Real Estate Agents - Male or Female?

In looking for a house, I haven't selected an agent to buy through yet. In doing so, I notice that I lean toward established older women in the biz. There are a number of young men, who would be energetic, no doubt. But I never seem to think of calling them, maybe because of a past bad experience with one years ago. Also because of my interactions in the selling of my house with local young male agents who have approached me with a buyer (they were trying to take advantage of me by presenting a lowball offer with full sales commission without having done any work, also lying to me).

Do you have a preference? Or is it just me?
 
women for residential ... women tend to be the buying decision makers of housing
men for commercial ... and it is usually men determining which commercial property to acquire

You should just ignore male or female, and just seek honest and dishonest. Scam artists know no gender or age, what you need is to ask around and review for the most honest one you can find.
