It's getting cold out.

That is so depressing.

Yes, however, the plus side is that it wakes me right the **** up when I go on my morning run. Well, unless there is ice all over the sidewalks. ><

That doesn't happen too much anymore. 2 or 3 days, and then it goes back to the teens or 20's.

Well, it shouldn't this year at least, given the strong El Nino.

On the other hand, that might mean we have a chance at beating last year's snow record. Which... well... I'll stop talking now.

The high temp for the next couple of days is going to be in the high 60's. Time to break out the parka and electric socks.

It's getting hotter here... gearing up for summer.

My introduction to anything Arizona came from a guy from Tucson I was stationed with in Colorado Springs. He showed up for guardmount in a parka when it was maybe 50°

Even though I've been out here for the better part of three decades I still LOVE this weather. My back door is open overnight and even though it might hit the 40's at night it'll still be 60ish inside and that's just about perfect for me.

It got cold quickly though right! This is my first winter living in AZ and I thought the sun went out like a switch sometime in October. I didn't bring many winter clothes (maybe one sweater) and I'm regretting it. Hoping we see a few more days/weeks in the 70's!

And being from a colder climate myself I know how ridiculous someone from warm places sound complaining about the 'cold' but damn it's easy to take that big old thing called the sun for granted.

Our Fall and Spring are probably the shortest in the country. What's the saying? "We have 2 seasons: Summer and January 12th."

Lots of folks out here feel just like you do but I'm not one of them. I'm still in a tshirt today and folks around the office complex are looking at me like I'm an idiot (I HOPE that's because of the temperature!).

I own winter clothes but the closest I get to wearing them around here is throwing on a hoodie when I go walking in the morning. When it gets a little cooler during the day I do switch to long sleeves.

Ugh. I hate, hate, hate the cold. It means I've got to ditch the t-shirts and shorts I wear for most of the year and try to remember where in the Hell I stashed all of my blue jeans, light jackets, and long sleeve fleece shirts.

It also means that running's going to suck, because I only really have time to do it at night after dark, or in the early morning, when the temperature's at it's lowest point for the day.

Keep in mind this is all coming from a native Floridian, presently living in South Carolina. My vision of "cold" is in the mid 50s.
