On Wednesday, I was admitted into the hospital with an all-dy pulse rate of 140 at rest. After monitoring for two days, a chemical stress test and an echo cardiogram, I was diagnosed as having had an episode of Arterial Fibulation. For pparently no reason at all since all tests were normal. My heartbeat went back to normal on its own. I follow up with a cardio doc tomorrow, but the consensus seems to be a slight adjustment in my bp meds and an adult aspirin a day.
Does anyone have this condition? How severe (often), what's your treatment?
Thanks!
oh, and I've never felt better in the hospital. Other than slight shortness of breath on exertion, I'd have never known anything was wrong.
