I have ordered some money from Zimbabwe. I want to feel rich.

Is there any danger of viruses.

It is probably safer than our US dollars. Why? Well, I assume you are getting the old hyperinflated Zimbabwe currency. While it is technically still legal tender there, at least until the end of this year, nobody in Zimbabwe spends that anymore. They have been using USD and currency from other countries for the past several years. Which means the money you are buying has likely been sitting dormant for years.

I lived there for the better part of a year and stayed perfectly healthy. Don't worry about it.

Thanks. Is there a risk of viruses being on that there may be some dangerous viruses or bacteria on them?

I HIGHLY doubt it. But if you are paranoid just lightly spray the bills with Lysol.

Paper not so much danger, however things like even polished rocks could carry parisites that could wipe out crops, and leather bought from alot of countries carry anthrax. Overseas in the military i did customs and borders, meaning i inspected goods and determine what was safe to bring back and what was not.

The biggest one was ofcourse leather, which we only allowed if it was tanned, as untanned leather could have anthrax, since those countries do not vaccinate animals for the virus. The same goes for animal bones, wood, anything with dirt or dust on it etc that parasites and viruses can hide in.
