Been listening to some great soundtracks while working lately.

My inner geek just loves the LOTR and Hobbit soundtracks. I also really REALLY love some Game Of Thrones soundtracks at times.

Anybody else have some favorites?
Not just individual songs from shows/movies, but the entire soundtrack.

Since youre leaning to instrumentals (as do I when I'm working)...

I like lotr, especially "the complete recordings". Hobbit is a little thin for me. I'll also listen to darn near anything by hans Zimmer - gladiator, inception, davinci code, man of steel, batman. If you have an amazon prime account, there's some good ones on there (including some listed above): skyfal, xmen, kingdom of heaven, Robin hood, avatar, and some soundtrack-like albums from future world music, two steps from hell, etc.

Conan The Barbarian

A bunch of Star Trek ones.

Superman.

Mortal Combat.

I'm gonna love this thread. Just off the top of my head, anything by Hans Zimmer is going to be excellent (wrote the soundtracks for Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, Dark Knight, Crimson Tide and a ton of other stuff I'm probably forgetting). John Williams, who wrote the soundtracks for Star Wars, Harry Potter, Indiana Jones.

Also, if you're into soundtrack or trailer type of music, more recently I have been listening to groups such as Two Steps from Hell and Audiomachine.
