There is one huge truth about our existence, and the existence or all life on earth.

Worms got to eat same as the birds.

or another way to put it is like this:

As ye eat, so shall ye be eaten.

Think about it.

You take in the nutrients that this planet has to offer you to build your body. Your waste also returns some nutrients to the soil for plants to grow and insects and animals to feed upon.

Even after you die, you body will be fed upon in the age old cycle. If you are buried, then roots of plants will grow into you.

If you are reduced to ashes, then even your ashes can return nutrients to the soil.

So as ye eat, so shall ye be eaten.

That is the whole of the law.

The only difference is that Man has a certain kind of intelligence that allows Man to dominate the Earth. But in the end Man is no different in the eyes of nature than the lowest creatures that inhabit this planet.

Uh.... we think we're dominating the earth, when really all we seem to be doing is taking up space and consuming resources like any other animal, to our own detriment.

If we were smart then the tragedy of the commons would not be happening to us.

The theology of dominion is partly why humans have ended up in such a grave situation, as though we're better than animals, even though at the end of the day 99% of humans are just doing what animals do.

Conservatives think everybody has to be like them.
Christians think everybody has to be like them.

And Obama is putting financial pressure on small countries in Africa in order to get to change their laws regarding homosexuality.

So on and so forth.

I guess that could be considered a way of as ye eat so shall ye be eaten.

Life is actually full of never ending circular arguments, when you think about it.

And it is all as ye eat so shall ye be eaten.

Yep. The circle of life on earth. I've asked my relatives to cremate me when I die and scatter the ashes....recycle me, so to speak.

Man has interfered with the circle of life, though. We no longer turn to ash. Our waste no longer goes to cultivate the earth. We use technology and the strength of groups to prevent getting eaten (and it's such big news whenever a human is eaten or killed by an animal). We do this in large part by killing off animals that would be our predators (lions). Most of them are either extinct or border on extinction.

The circule of life on earth has been disturbed.

true and there will be a price to pay even when we disturb the circle the spin continues just at a different speed
 
we're one of the few organisms on this earth that doesn't have to worry about being eaten on a daily basis. however, yeah, we are all recycled eventually.

I get insulted by being called a child a lot.

And i'm sorry, but obviousness is something is hard for me to grasp. I do not know if it is obvious to other people if I bring the subject up.

I've just recently come to realize this for this month, about two weeksw before I made this post.
