I think this is actually kind of dangerous considering the creature could turn around and bite them. However all these people seemed determined to put this poor stranded shark back in the water. I think I probobly would have felt bad for it too really.

Everyone trying to save a Stark?

I was expecting a thread about Game of Thrones.

It died anyways.

Dangerous? Yes. Compassionate? Also yes.

It's compassionate, but how do you think they would have felt had that same shark attacked and killed a child later that week/month/etc.?

Not that I think sharks are evil or should be left to die or anything, but sometimes when humans interfere with nature we don't help ourselves.

First off that would be a huge assumption. I am sure that is not the only shark that lives there I am sure. So your argument is completely idiotic! Secondly I know its not actually helping them but the point was that these people had sympathy for something that very well could have killed them. Its kind of like the mouse and the lion.

It's not an assumption, it's a hypothetical. My point is that the same act which seems largely compassionate and "good" here could seem largely idiotic had the circumstances unfolded a little differently.

Yes, exactly! I said in my initial post its dangerous. They are helping a deadly predator that has attacked humans before. However this shows that humans can sometimes be compassionate to the point of their own downfall.

Stark? Isn't that the guy with that really cool super suit that can fly? Hmm.
