Pesticides are banned?

Bayer Advanced Complete Insect Killer For Soil & Turf - Granules

That little... uh.... comment aside: Nematodes can be used as a non-chemical solution. There's also a bacterial solution which I only know about in theory - never read anything about it or used it. Most applications for grub control should be done in the spring, before the grubs emerge from the ground.

Pick em out and pop em. That was fun for me as a younger kid. ;)

It's banned in Ontario. We can't use Bayer Advanced.

Ah... I'd suggest nematodes then. I never looked into the bacterial methods. There are also certain small wasps like Scoliidea (I have lots of these in late summer that hover over the ground and lay their eggs on buried grubs and control grubs - they're not aggressive and they don't sting unless you step on them. Something to look into - here's an article I found on them. I had quite a few of the hornworms with those egg pouches on my tomatos so I know at least this summer we had quite a few good insects naturally battling the pests!

Do what Bear does.

AAAAaaaaargh.

Maybe fried? Dipped in ketchup? Lots of ketchup.

Mind you....that's a good idea for survivalists!

Where are pesticides banned? We use Grubex. Works good. The following year use beetle traps or anyway you can get rid of Japanese beetles.

I'm in Ontario. It's banned here.

Have it shipped to your door and treat your lawn at 2am. ;) Tell your local officials grubs should be banned.

Moles and gophers are your best bet.

Oh boy.....moles are most likely rare in our immediate area now. That prodigal cat loved hunting them down and giving them to us as offerings.
