i don't like society putting pressure on women to feel like they have to look perfect all of the time, but this girl is really talented at what she does. and yeah, if you want to wear makeup, apologize to no one about it, and enjoy it. if you don't want to wear makeup, apologize to no one about it, and enjoy it. she's pretty either way.

I think Caitlin Jenner is a better example of the power of make-up.. but yeah... it's transformational powers have never really been in dispute.

personally.. I look the natural look better ( sans make-up)... but I'm not opposed to light make-up to cover minor blemishes or enhance certain features.

the heavy make-up look is not for me....at all.

I dress up like Zoro when I go out. I even put the Zoro mask on my horse, and he gets a cape, too. I don't mind a little make up on the senoritas. But the woman in the OP's eye on the left there makes her look like a raccoon.

Up close you can see through makeup and that even happens in movies and TV in these hi-def days. One of the reasons makeup works fairly well is that in the mass media, nearly everyone wears a lot, so it is established as the norm.

Make is like wonder bras.

False advertising.

How would you ladies feel if a 16 year old could fake the look of stubble on their face to look older?

Or if some dude strapped a sausage to his leg to make it look like he was well hung?

False advertising.

Wowsa! That gal is hella good with makeup. Seriously, if she isn't a professional makeup artist, she should be!

That's really kind of fascinating.

I enjoyed every minute of this--I love makeup.

I didn't know about that highlighter she put above the blush. Who knows about this?

I've become a lot bolder with the eyeliner and the "smoky" look, but not quite this bold.

My wife has been working with me on shading and blending, two skills I lack. I think being a natural artist helps, I am not one, understanding the interplay between shading, colors and depth. Make up can be serious bidness!

Number one cause of divorce - morning.

If so, then that's a sad commentary on the mentality of the modern man, if he'd marry a woman only because of how she looks, and not care nearly so much about deeper aspects of her character.

Even the most attractive supermodel is not going to look that good indefinitely. Everyone gets old, eventually.

That was fascinating to watch. I personally am not into it when women wear a lot of makeup. But then women should be doing what makes them happy and not what other people want. There is certainly an art to doing good makeup so I can see why many women would enjoy expressing themselves that way.

I think she said this one: Highlight skin with theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Luminizer, a face illuminator.

I haven't used that one, but I use this one: Laura Geller Baked Highlighter with Double-Ended Face & Eye Applicator Portofino Ulta.com - Cosmetics, Fragrance, Salon and Beauty Gifts

I think it's very thoughtful for women to take the time to wear makeup, I certainly appreciate it. Makeup, painted nails, slight perfume scent, beautifully done hair....wahoo!!! :2dance:

It's said that women dress to challenge other women for a variety of reasons, since they are their worse critics - but the makeup is for the guys! I guess that's true, since you seem to notice.

Women can be so beautiful, but the right makeup can make them intoxicating. :nails Of course, not every woman is going for that look either, but I don't mind it.
