You have to hit accept to the "Adobe allow access to microphone" Chrome puts a little "Allow / Deny" at the top

As Mr. Vicchio said, you probably have to to do settings to "allow" your mic/computer/audio to let vocaroo use your mike. Click on "help" underneath the window in middle of pg and see what it says to check.

BUT none of that worked for me, until I did this:
Go to global settings for adobe flash player. Adobe - Flash Player : Settings Manager - Website Privacy Settings panel

That is not just an image. It's an actual settings box. Listed in the box you should see vocaroo. Highlight it, then click on "always allow." Then go back to vacaroo and see if it works.

If you have a camera on your pc or skype, you have a built-in microphone.

I work from home, have a nice headset with mic so I kinda cheated ;)

Same here though I will be going back to the office regularly starting in the summer because the two projects that the company had last year went nowhere and I lost a lot of money because of it. :roll:

I couldn't get the vocaroo to work either.
