Hi!

Read your forum for a while. Decided to sign up. Now a lot of news about Russia. If it is interesting - I can answer questions from the perspective of a resident of Siberia.

Sorry for the bad english. My main foreign language - French.

Welcome to the DP Forum, bardak. Enjoy the camaraderie and the confrontation.

Please tell us of yourself.

You show a political lean as "conservative"; Could you share, with an example, what "conservative" politics means from your point of view.

Enjoy !

Greetings! We only have a few Russian posters here so your input would be welcome. Don't worry about your English, it would improve as you post here (as I'm a testament to that :)) and it's understandable. Where in Siberia do you live (if you don't mind me asking)?

FYI there's a section for introductions by new posters here: Come in and say Hi

Anyways, welcome to DP!

Greetings, Bardak.

You probably anticipated this but..

I am curious on your views of various geo-political matters, Especially since your nation is directly involved or is playing some degree of a role in them.

1. What are your views on the Referendum and then annexation of the Crimea, and why?

2. What are your views on the current Russo-Ukrainian tensions, and why?

3. What are your views on the Ukrainian Civil War, and why?

4. What are your views on the sanctions put on Russia by Europa, and why?

5. What are your views on the Syrian conflict, and ISIS(L), and why?

Hello!

I have been building and investments in Siberia. My first education - Clinical Psychiatry. The second and main - investment management and real estate.

At the time, I traveled to Russia, even lived in the Ukraine. My father was a military man, so we moved often. I also wanted to be a soldier, but for personal reasons was unable to enlist. Graduated from two universities in Siberia and live here today.

In my opinion, conservatism is designed to warn against hasty decisions. All actions in the framework of conservatism must be weighed and rely on the traditions of the society.

Hello!

I expect these issues and do not mind to answer them :)

1. Crimea - is the historical land of Russia, the Ukraine in control. Even the status of Crimea says a lot: Crimea - is an autonomous republic. It is understood that the residents of the Crimea - a Russian people. They suffered a lot and could tolerate and on, but when 2 million people want to deprive them of their language - it's horrible. We have friends and relatives in the Crimea. And they supported the referendum - is the main argument for me. It is understood that if not for the support of the population, Russia would not even think about returning to the Crimea. But everything happened as it happened.

It should also be borne in mind that Russia is ready to do anything to protect the Crimea. I think it understands and Ukraine.

2. The overthrow of power in Ukraine - is a crime. However, Russia has taken the point of view of the new authorities. But the prosecution Russia all the troubles of Ukraine - it's just a search for the culprit in his own impotence. To date, with regard to business in Russia, we personally do not want to work with Ukrainian enterprises. We just want Ukraine to leave us alone. The Soviet Union left Ukraine 60% of its industry. They were able in 23 years to destroy the entire industry, economy and history. We do not want them to know more, but we will all who want to live in Russia.

3. There is the same situation as with the Crimea. The root cause of discontent began to ban Russian language. Then there were minor clashes. Then people in the East of Ukraine began to shoot. They had two solutions. The first - to accept, give yourself to humiliate and bait. The second - to seek independence. They chose the second option with all its consequences. There is particular fact - East of Ukraine did not demand independence, and wanted to federalization. New Ukrainian authorities decided to show strength, but did not consider the response.

4. Sanctions have the opposite reaction. Russia's economy has suffered greatly because of sanctions, but also the economy of Europe, too. It should be understood that Russia - this is not North Korea or even Iran. We have a huge territory, resources, science, military and ... ambitions. In the long term sanctions have the opposite reaction. We are able to provide themselves with food, and if the sanctions continue - we completely close the demand for foreign products. In this case, the place for European companies no longer remain altogether. The Russian economy has a budget surplus, our public debt to 13% of gross domestic product. We are not going to die of hunger and the business does not stop, but Russia will become angrier and will take violent solutions. This is necessary to think. It should also be noted that Russia does not actually impose sanctions against the West. And if Russia will introduce sanctions? For example, locked in the Northern Seas and flights over its territory? Sanctions - this is a bad solution to the problems.

5. First arming terrorists against Assad, and then fight with them - it's stupid. In Russia, there is an expression: do not dig another hole - he will enter into it.

I'm not surprised your main foreign language is French. Your writing in English has a sort of French cadence or rhythm to it.

One way you could stop having interaction with Ukraine would be to get your troops the hell out of their country. YOu may be a very nice guy, but it's apparent that you swallow the Moscow propaganda hook, line, and sinker.

What is the "Moscow propaganda"? Do you really think that we are all sitting in front of TV, watching the federal channels and pray for Putin? I do not have a TV, I do not need it :)

As soon as there are similar themes - always there is a person who speaks about propaganda. Next would be to blame, I troll the paid work and the Kremlin. Then he will say that we are all mistaken and Putin - a bloody tyrant. However. I did not start political themes about Ukraine, Crimea, propaganda. I even posted this thread in the Off-Topic Discussion. I ask not about Ukraine, but I answer. My answer - this is my opinion. We can discuss the weather, Russian girls, Russian nature, corruption, science.

Best propaganda - it's relatives in Ukraine. I've got my aunt with her daughter and son. Ukraine is closely connected with Russian relatives. We disclaim Ukraine, but do not abandon relatives.

As antipropoganda can tell where the million refugees arrived from Ukraine. In Poland? In Germany? In the United States? In the Baltic states? Only in our area came thirty thousand people. They feed, clothe, provide housing and work. Propaganda? Come and see. They are here, and not on the TV screen. Oh yeah, I forgot - it's the KGB! ..

About the war. For the whole year showed only ten stray Russian border guards. They had thirty rounds per person and a dog. According to statements, the Ukraine fights ten (!!!) Russian divisions. Where are they? Psak Jane says she has proof, but it can not show them. How sweet. Oh, yes, there were more satellite images with agricultural combines and burning haystacks. Whether fighting Russian in Ukraine? Fight! Twenty-three years ago, we were one country. When they kill your family member, you can be on the sidelines? If the Russian army in the Ukraine? No! Why does she need it? Ukraine is at war with Russia, but Russia was not at war.

Come join us in Siberia and see for yourself how we live and what is happening. Come on! If you decide to come, write, do not hesitate. Just dress warmly.

Hello!

Today we have -22 degrees Celsius. Humidity 84% and calm. Yesterday was -28 degrees, the wind 20 meters per second (Storm) and 90% humidity. it is believed that we live in the south of Siberia. In the north of Siberia and the humidity is less wind, but the temperature is about -30 now.

This year we have little snow. Usually already lie drifts.
